If our previous post on Devil’s Bridge wasn’t enough reason for you to visit Ceredigion in Mid Wales, the beautiful seaside town of Aberaeron might just twist your arm!
The photograph above as seen on the Visit Wales website paints an idyllic picture of the pretty seaside town which is predominantly Welsh speaking. Sit and watch the boats bob with the ebb and flow of the tide before enjoying freshly cooked seafood at one of the restaurants which line the harbour.
Visit Wales’ new website features some great photographs of beautiful locations within Wales. The Ceredigion page features a photograph of the dramatic looking Devil’s Bridge, the name alone instilling fear and drama, detailing the three bridges which have been piled atop each other over the last thousand or so years.
The first bridge is something of legend, said to have been built by the Devil to enable a woman to rescue her cow from across the river. The deal struck was the bridge for the first soul which crossed the bridge, but the stories say that the Devil was tricked, and the woman’s dog was coaxed over the bridge with food.
The bridge is located in the village of the same name and spans the Mynach River – a tributary of the River Rheidol.

There are many reasons why it’s great to participate in the Boryeong Mud Festival. Know what makes the Boryeong Festival one of the best Korea festivals. Reminisce the times when you used to play with your friends at the beach, running on the shore with mud on your feet and splatters of it across your face? Those were fun times. But what made that moment truly memorable were the friends that ran around with you on the shore; and how you wish now, that you can do it all over again.

Dubbed as Wales’ answer to Kate Moss and the seventh most photographed sunset in the world, this photograph of Rossili Bay in Swansea from the Visit Wales site is truly something else.
The above photo is testament to the beauty of the area, with the remnants of the wreck of the Helvetia the focal point, and it unsurprising that the Gower was the first to be designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
